A soothing ointment for burns, scalds, eczema, ulcers etc.

Composition

Each 100 gm contains

Oleum Lini 33.6 gm
Oleum Sesami 8.8 gm in Beeswax base

Indications:

In burns scalds, ulcers, eczema, bedsores, cracked skin, fissures and in piles

Application:

Burns and scalds: Apply liberally on the affected part. Soothing action relieves pain and burning sensation. It should be applied in the morning and at night until the affected part is healed. The affected part may be kept covered with a dressing after application.

Ulcers, eczema, bedsores: Apply in the morning and evening after washing the affected part with warm water and drying with a soft cloth.

Cracked skin fissures and rough skin: Massage lightly to keep the skin soft. Used on the face as a light cream, also for palms, soles, cracked or peeling skin in dry or moist weather.

Can also be applied in piles, before and after defecation, constipation must be corrected with Spolax.

Side-effects: NilAdditional Information

In case of indolent ulcers, crush two tablets of Herbo-Sulph and mix it with Ripanto. Apply this twice a day to the affected area.

 

Vapour-rub for headaches & colds

Composition

Each 100 gm contains

Pudina arka (Mentha arvensis) 5 gm
Karpoor (Camphora officinarum) 10 gm
Nilgiri tel (Eucalyptus globulus) 2.5 ml
Gandhaberoza tel (Pinus palustris) 2.5 ml
Gandhapura tel (Methyl salicylas) 5 ml
Paraffin base q.s.

Indications:

Headache, cold and cough, bronchitis, aches and pains, neuralgia, sprains. Can also be inhaled with vapours from boiling water in chest colds. Apply Rubzon on the affected part and massage gently.

Side-effects: NilAdditional Information

In case of nasal congestion, take some Rubzon and drop it into a bowl of hot water. Inhale through one and exhale through the other one. Repeat with other nostril.
